Hurry Home!

Hello Everyone!

I have a card to share with you today that I made for my daughter living in Germany!

I took a map of the area where we live and used it as background paper for this card! It is adhered to a Kraft stock base. I used my Cricut to cut the sentiment and then layered that onto a purple background. The" hurry home " sentiment was written with a fine tip CM marker and then punched with a Word Window punch. It is layered on a purple oval. I added the pink flower with a purple crystal brad center. The tiny red heart is the spot where we live. Lastly, I scalloped the top edge to add a little interest.

My daughter enjoyed this card every bit as much as I hoped she would. The only problem was it also made her cry which made me cry and then we had a real cry fest! She and her family will be back in the States this summer and I am bursting with excitement after having them in Germany for three years!

So don't look at a map as just another fold for your glovebox! Use it as a card background or an album cover! After all, you know where you live....right?!?!

I hope you will come visit me at Bountiful Blessings and see more repurposed and re"blessed" projects!

Blessings to you,
Vicki
